About this opportunity
The Adam Smith Center for Economic Freedom (ASC) at FIU invites applications for Postdoctoral Fellowships. ASC seeks exceptional, independently motivated early-career scholars who will research, teach and participate in the Center's vibrant intellectual community. Fellows will engage in research, teaching and policy-relevant activities in areas such as economic liberty, free markets, entrepreneurship, academic freedom, classic liberal thought, individual liberty and the institutional foundations of prosperity.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct original and independent research aligned with ASC's mission.
- Present research each semester and submit publishable drafts annually.
- Teach at least one course or academic seminar series each year.
- Contribute to Center events, policy briefings and public outreach initiatives.
- Participate in a collaborative intellectual community and professional development opportunities.

Requirements
Ph.D. in Economics, Political Economy, Public Policy, Government, International Relations, Business, Law or a related field (must be conferred by the start date). Teaching experience in relevant fields is preferred.
