This is a full-time, on-site role for a Professor of Finance, based at the FIIB campus in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. The Professor of Finance will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate finance courses, using experiential and practice-oriented teaching methods aligned with FIIB’s mission. Responsibilities include developing curricula and course materials, supervising student projects and research, mentoring learners on academic and career pathways, and maintaining high standards of student engagement and assessment. The role also involves conducting and publishing scholarly and applied research, contributing to industry collaborations, participating in institutional initiatives and committees, and supporting accreditation and quality assurance activities. The professor is expected to engage with corporate partners, policy makers, and international collaborators to enrich classroom discussions and foster industry-relevant learning.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate finance courses, using experiential and practice-oriented teaching methods aligned with FIIB’s mission.

Requirements
- Ph.D. from a reputable institute
- Minimum 8 years teaching experience, including 5 years post-Ph.D.
- Minimum 7 publications in Scopus / ABDC / ABS indexed journals
- At least 1 publication in ABDC A / A / B category*
- Strong research continuity and academic contribution
- Preferred Attributes:
- Active involvement in research, doctoral mentoring, and project funding
- Engagement through editorial roles, awards, speaker invitations, or academic associations
- Industry collaboration, consultancy, or case writing contributions
- Ability to deliver engaging, inclusive, and technology-enabled teaching
